ClockEnd Ryan celebrates another 3 points
Another great result yesterday, we really are scoring for fun at the moment. It was annoying that we conceded a late consolation goal again, like on Wednesday, but I’d prefer to look on
the bright side and say that it was good that we had killed the game off by playing well and so a last minute goal for the oppo doesn’t matter. Unlike at West Ham and AZ Almaar away…
How much of a difference does Alex Song make to us now? It’s amazing to think how much he’s come on since that infamous performance at Craven Cottage a few years ago when he was woeful.
I’m not sure any gooner could honestly say that he was likely to become a mainstay of the first team at any point in his career. He gives our midfield balance, but he actually links
play up really well as he looks so comfortable in possession now. Top stuff.
It was also clear yesterday that our squad, once most people are fit, is actually quite strong. Take a look at the subs that came on – Rosicky, Nasri, and Song. 3 players that in my
opinion would get into any team in the league. Valencia or Malouda? Give me Rosicky or Nasri any day. Although we all know that the Sp*rs bench is much stronger than ours cos
Robbie Keane said so!
The Chavs just won a boring match against Man Utd, which means we stay ahead of Utd and are 5 points behind the Chavs with a game in hand. Well in the mixer I think you’ll agree,
especially when we turn them over at the Grove on November 29th!
