Reading Fail In Attempt To Sign Wilshere On Loan

Chronicle, Reading were unsuccessful in signing Arsenal starlet Jack Wilshere on loan. Reading manager Brendan Rodgers said,
“Jack would be a terrific possibility and I’ve already made the enquiry on that one …But Jack will go to the Premier League. The reality is he’s a Premier League player, he even said that
himself.”“If they are top talents there’s a big chance they will come to Reading because if they’re good enough they will get an opportunity here … We will always be in the running to bring in
talent like Jack when they become available.”

“We are not any further forward in terms of dialogue. We have an agreement with Portsmouth but we have to see if anything has changed with Avram … We tried to have a chat last week but it
was difficult. David obviously has a role to play as well in terms of shaping his own career.”“He is a player I like and we will see what the outcome is.”
