Milan Tracking Barcelona Captain Carles Puyol

The Blaugrana captain is yet to agree terms on a new deal at the Camp Nou

he is believed to be uncertain of his future role within the squad.
Now claim that the Italian side are tracking developments closely, following the news that an ultimatum has apparently been issued to Puyol and team-mate Rafael Marquez.
If the Spanish international doesn’t ink his new two-year deal by January, Pep Guardiola’s side
will move into the transfer market to replace the 31-year-old.
It could be that Milan will then make their move in an attempt to pick up Puyol on a cut-price deal, but there is believed to be heavy competition for his signature. Arsenal and Manchester City
are also monitoring the situation and will step in should the experienced defender decide against extending his contract.
