Monday round-up

It’s Monday, still one day before the Barca game. There’s no point in Pre-previews other than to write the same thing two days in a row and drive away whatever small amount of readers I have, and
there’s hardly anything to talk about, so it’s a short blog today.

Karl Henry, the guy who was sent off for bloodying Tomas Rosicky’s foot, said that his tackle was a fair one, the ref made a big mistake et all. Normally I would look at this indifferently; after
all, he was sent off for the first time in his career, and then saw his side lose 30 seconds before time, you can be a bit agitated in the post-match interview. He didn’t stop there though, and
accused Arsenal players of theatrically rolling around and trying to get him sent off. The day after the match.

Rosicky was hit quite badly. There were VERY clear stud marks and some reddish liquidy thing on his foot. If Karl thinks that Rosicky has no right to writhe after getting hit like this, he’s
stupid.

Vermaelen thought that he was seeing a repeat of the Ramsey injury (and certainly, with Rosicky’s injury record, it could have been a serious injury). If Karl thinks that he has no right to get
angry, then he’s stupid.

It was a reckless tackle from behind that, as said before, made some reddish liquidy thing appear on Rosicky’s leg. If Karl thinks that such a tackle is not worthy of a sending off, he’s very
stupid.

Nicklas ‘The Nicker’ Bendtner said about the importance of scoring in extra time and all. You can check it out at Arsenal dot com. He also said that the Wolves players wasted a lot of time; I saw
an incident in which the GK placed the ball on a different side of his 6 yard box. Amazingly (or maybe not), this did not merit an appearance in the media, while Henry’s did. Ho hum.

A long blog tomorrow, as I preview a game destined to be a classic.
