With the ownership tug-of-war slowly going the way of DIC, I wanted to share a video documentary which I stumbled upon that highlights exactly why a take-over from Dubai International Capital, is essential.
The vision of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, is one of a very competitive nature. Everything has to be the biggest, the fastest, the talest. In short, Sheikh Mohammed settles for nothing other than first place and will do whatever and spend whatever it takes to get there.
The Sheikh is a man who acts rather than sitting round and planning. What he has achieved in Dubai over the last 7 years has been nothing short of amazing and would have taken many people a life time of planning and building to accomplish.
