Kenny Dalglish has been sacked as Liverpool manager after finishing eighth in the Premier League. Dalglish, 61, led the club to Carling Cup glory and the FA Cup final, but could not seal a Champions League spot.

They spell out the clubs unofficial mantra Mia san Mia (We are who we are) and a number of its defining ideals. Full of confidence, loyal, technically brilliant, innovative, effective, focused, attacking, tactically flexible.
