The Patriot League men’s basketball schedule begins on Saturday, with four games that are great examples of how the 2010 race is as wide open as ever. The preseason favorite, Holy Cross, and two-time defending champion, American, come to the Lehigh Valley reeling at 3-12 to take on Lafayette and Lehigh, respectively, who are hot at 9-6. Army, the top team overall at 10-4 in non-League play, goes to a 4-10 Colgate team with three straight wins by 15 points or more. And Navy visits Bucknell, in a matchup of teams that have certainly seen their highs and lows.

The weekend should kick off an exciting 14-game race for seeding into the Patriot League Tournament, with none of the eight teams separating themselves from the group in either a positive or negative direction. Expect the race to come down to the end, so every game is going to count to get the precious top seeds in the League Tournament and the home-court advantage that comes with it.

With so much intrigue in the wide-open 2010 race, the Patriot League All-Access package provides an outstanding one-stop spot to get all of the action live through a cutting-edge internet streaming broadcast.
