Whitecaps Set to Make Announcements

The Vancouver Whitecaps FC will be holding two press conferences this week.
On Wednesday they will make an announcement regarding a soccer personnel announcement. Marc Weber of the Vancouver Province suggested last week the ‘Caps could be hiring former Sparta Rotterdam technical director Richard Grootscholten as their youth director.
***scratch the coaching announcement of Richard Grootscholten. Martin Nash is set to retire Wednesday and move into the front office***
On Thursday, the Whitecaps and BMO Financial Group will host a joint press conference to announce the club and bank have a sponsorship partnership for the upcoming 2011 MLS season.
