Your success as a soccer player depends on the very fact that how well you are at kicking the ball. Moreover, this is where youth soccer drill video comes into play. These videos will let you know how to make the ball do what you want it to do.

There is in fact a very long list of skills and techniques that the coaches must help their players acquire. Well, it is not very practical to get perfection in all the skills, but at the same time, it is very important for a player to develop each of them so that they could use them when there is a need.

  • Turning Up The Ball
  • The coach must teach the players how to spin around with the ball using the inside of their foot. It is a very effective technique because it helps the players have better control of the ball and to pull the same around to open up into the direction where they want to take the ball.

Again, when you find that the defender is very close to you and is trying to steal the ball from you, the first thing you have to do is to play the ball at right pace. Have the ball run through your legs and instantly turn the ball to beat your opponent.

  • Get The Ball In The Goal Box
  • If the coach wants their players to score goals, he must have the players of his team accustomed to crossing the ball whenever they get a chance. This way, the players can manipulate the thought process of the defenders of the opponent team.

The defenders will start thinking that you are going to cross the ball every time. You have to utilize this opportunity while going down the line to cut the ball back or take a shot yourself.

You all know how important it is to get the ball inside the goal box of the opponent team to win matches for your team, and this is where drill videos come into action.

These videos will not only teach you how to develop all the soccer skills but it will also pave the path for you to have perfection in a particular skill by watching these videos again and again. Obviously, you will have to practice, practice and practice and not just keep watching the youth soccer drill video.

Soccer Trick Tips – Ball Handling

Ball handling is a skill that you must teach your offensive players to acquire using the following soccer trick tips.

  • Entering The Goal Area
  • You should train the offensive players of your team to use the sides of the field to advance the ball down the field because the position of the defensive players is usually the middle of the field. When the offensive players come into the area of goal from the sides, it forces the defensive players to come outside and thus leaving the clear space in front of the goal.

This is the opportunity when the offensive players should pass the ball into the center of the penalty area. Here, the players must keep in mind that things move very fast on field and they have to take instant decision regarding their next step.

Therefore, when the offensive players are passing the ball, they must make sure that their timing is perfect and their fellow player gets the ball through passing.

  • Taking The Most Shots At Goal
  • It is obvious that if the players of your team will keep on shooting at the goals, they simply maximize their chances of winning the match. However, the players must be trained for accuracy in shooting so that when they get a chance, they could turn the shooting into scoring a goal.

When your offensive players are near the goal, their strategy must be to pass the ball among each other quite often because this way, you will be able to disperse the defensive players. This will ultimately result in clear space in the center of the field and this is your opportunity to shoot and score a goal for your team.

But, everything must be very sharp and accurate whether it is passing the ball, shooting the ball or scoring a goal. The speed, energy and accuracy of the offensive will be on test here.

  • Strongest Offensive Players Are Marked With The Best Defensive Players
  • It is not a big secret for the opponent team to figure out who is the strongest offensive player in your team. Once they figure out the same, they will allow their best defensive players to mark that strangest offensive player. Now, as a coach, you need to train your team in a way to use this as an advantage.

Overall, the above soccer trick tips are certainly going to win matches for you if followed with speed and accuracy.

As the famous saying goes ” U Gain Some , U Lose Some ” … and this saying very aptly applied to soccer fans who have been getting their regular LIVE soccer fix from the Indonesian RCTI Channel ! Indonesian soccer fans & a number of Singaporean ones ( who could gain access to the Channel ) here were indeed shocked to find out that the Channel will NOT be showing Spanish League LIVE Matches for this 2009 / 2010 New La Liga Season ! And so their hopes of watching the million dollar stars plying their trade at Real Madrid were dashed as the Channel’s seemed to have ‘ lost ‘ the Spanish League LIVE Broadcasting rights to another TV Channel – TV One this Season !

RCTI Channel has been the Channel bringing to soccer fans LIVE UEFA Champions League & Spanish League Matches to both countries soccer fans over the years . While the Channel still does continue to show LIVE UEFA Champions League Matches for this New Season , Spanish League fans will now have to turn to TV One Channel instead for their LIVE Coverage !

But , all is not lost yet though ! It seems that soccer fans may get to watch Italian Serie A LIVE Matches On RCTI Channel instead , but only for Monday morning’s ( Singapore Time 2.45am ) Fixtures Beginning from this week onwards ! For a start , the Channel will be showing Bari vs AC Milan LIVE & EXCLUSIVE at 2.45am ( Monday , 28 Sept 2009 – Singapore Time ! ) .

This sudden decision by Indonesian RCTI Channel not to show Spanish League Matches LIVE for this Season comes as a real shock to many soccer fans here as well as back home in Indonesia as the Channel has been doing so for these past few years ! This move comes as very sudden and abrupt indeed ! Also , some soccer fans also observed that the Channel’s LIVE soccer Coverage this second half of the year especially have decreased quite rapidly , in terms of the number of LIVE Matches & Competitions they are broadcasting !

Most notably has to be earlier this Month where there were two Rounds of South American World Cup Qualifying Matches being played , but none of it were being shown LIVE on RCTI Channel ! Both times , only one of the five Matches each were being shown as DELAYED Telecast – Brazil vs Argentina & Brazil vs Chile .

As such , some soccer fans here in Singapore can’t help but feel that Starhub Cable could have a part to play in this , as they felt that the local cable operator could have done something to serve as a reminder or warning to them – such as writing a warning letter to the Indonesian TV Station against broadcasting both the Spanish League & South American World Cup Qualifying Matches which Starhub Football Channel are showing !

And their ‘ speculation ‘ and ‘ theory ‘ may just have been proven right ! Ironically , the two Competitions which the Indonesian RCTI Channel are currently showing it LIVE on it’s Channel – UEFA Champions League & Italian Serie A …. Both competitions Starhub Cable happened NOT to be showing it this Season , after having lost the LIVE broadcasting rights to their rival operator – Singtel mio tv !

So , this really brings some soccer fans here to think and wonder if Starhub Cable did actually have a part to play in influencing the Indonesian RCTI Channel sudden decision not to show both the Spanish League & South American World Cup Qualifying Matches LIVE on it’s Channel , which they felt the Channel ‘ rightly ‘ should be doing so …. Is there really a ‘ conspiracy ‘ behind this as suggested by some soccer fans here ?

    14 Sept 2009

Following Indonesian Channel RCTI Channel broadcast of two LIVE UEFA Champions League Qualifying Matches last month , soccer fans can expect to see even more UEFA Champions League Action on the Channel , as the Brand New Season kicks off this Wednesday ( Singapore Time ) and RCTI Channel will once again be bringing u another Season of UEFA Champions League LIVE Coverage Beginning with this week’s opening Group Stages Matches onwards !

Though the UEFA Champions League will be starting this week , Starhub Cable who have been the one bringing to soocer Fans here LIVE UEFA Champions League Matches on their two Sports Channels – ESPN Channel 23 & Star Sports Channel 24 for the past few Seasons , will NOT be doing so for this Season as well as for the next two years ! They have been ‘ stripped ‘ of the broadcasting rights to do so for the next three years after they lost the bid to rival bidder Singtel mio tv who have dished out a special Football Frenzy Package for soccer fans this Season that covers all UEFA Club Matches ( Champions League & Europa League ) as well as the New Season of Italian Serie A .

Though Starhub Cable ESPN Channel 23 & Star Sports Channel 24 will not be bringing u LIVE Champions League Games this Season , Starhub Cable other two Channels – Goal TV 1 ( Channel 115 ) and Goal TV 2 ( Channel 116 ) will be bringing u selected UEFA Champions League Games DELAYED On Friday & Saturday !
