Patriot League Baseball Championship!

We’re into a winner-take-all game three of the Patriot League Baseball Championshp series after Bucknell beat Holy Cross, 4-3, in game two to even the set at 1-1. Check out the box score here. Holy Cross won game one last night, 8-7, and you can see the box and recap here.

In the pros, it’s game seven that gets everyone’s blood boiling. We only have one sport in the Patriot League that features a series, and on Sunday we’ll get the treat of two baseball semifinals in a decisive game three. No. 3 Holy Cross and No. 2 Lehigh have their first pitch at Noon in Bethlehem, with No. 4 Bucknell at No. 1 Army beginning at 1 p.m. as each team seeks a bid to the Patriot League Baseball Championship.

Another Busy Saturday in the Patriot League!

Welcome to another “live” edition on the Patriot League Gameday Blog! Our location today is at Army’s Doubleday Field for the Bucknell/Army baseball semifinals, but we’ll have updates on the softball championship down the street, baseball series between Holy Cross and Lehigh and NCAA action in women’s lacrosse and men’s tennis.

Women’s Lacrosse Live Blog: Sacred Heart at Navy

Just about to hop into the car for the trip from the Lehigh Valley to Annapolis for the women’s lacrosse NCAA Play-In game between NEC Champion Sacred Heart and Patriot League Champion Navy.
