Mali 0 – Algeria 1

Mali, one of the favorites to gain the Cup Africa, demonstrated that, of the party with Angola, there was necessary to remain more with the first paupérrima part than with the second one. If to this we add to him that to his seleccionador, Stephen Keshi, gave a trainer’s attack and left Kanouté in the stool, in the end it happened what it spent.

A new blunder of Diakité, which went out to the crazy thing, enabled the Algerian Halliche to blend as much as one wants 0-1. In the second part, already with Kanouté in the lawn, The Eagles did not manage to tack game as a result of having a midfield formed by Sissokó, Diarrá and Keita. The defeat put the classification of Mali in hands of third and in the next post I will mention how the thing finished, with The Foxes of the Desert doing honor to his name.

Angola 2 – Malawi 0

Angola was compensated of the emotional roller coaster of the inaugural party and conquered without too many problems to surprising Malawi. The first goal came to the knife-edge of the rest, thanks to Flavio’s header (and three go already in two parties!). The second one for The Black Levers marked his Manucho (that, as Dani reminded to us go Are enough in his moment, he is a player of the Valladolid) after stealing the portfolio Mponda from him and shooting Sanudi.

The Selection hostess, with 4 points, puts group leader and a tie in the third day comes to him to qualify. For his part, The Flames, thanks to his unexpected victory over Algeria, do not depend on anybody to qualify. Of course, they will stake it with Mali.

GROUP B Côte d’Ivoire 3 – Ghana 1

Côte d’Ivoire has been the first selection in 3-1 qualified for the following round on having been imposed to Ghana by a skylight. It went forward in the minute 22 of the first part with a goal of the player of the French Lille, Gervinho. And in 22 of the second part, Siaka Tiene put an absence great goal to put 2-0. In spite of playing with one more for the expulsion of the ivory one (and gunner) Emmanuel Eboue, Black Stars did not worry the goal of of his rival, who ended up by marking the third one with Drogba’s butt in 89. A minute later, Gyan marked that of the honor from eleven meters.

The victory over Ghana does well the unexpected no-score draw with Burkina Faso in the first day. Having moved back Togo, The Elephants have played his two corresponding parties and it provokes that Ghana and Burkina Faso play another square in the following party.
