Let’s not forget another League: it is that it burns
In this League with the best Barcelona of the History and best Madrid of last times (as well segurola says in the article that it connected us daleboca in my previous post), the attention mediática, including NdF, it is centring on the duel of the summit but the true thing is that, after them, there is staking the called “League of the mortal ones”, which deserves more attention than the one that we are giving him.
The struggle for others two positions of Champions and the two of Europe League is that it burns. Every week we live through a new chapter of a series that every time becomes better, with his protagonists fighting to prevail over others and with script drafts every day (I already do not know if I am speaking about Lost …). After twenty-one parties there is so tight the thing that, at this point, little more than assumptions or personal bets can do to themselves.
The Valencia is very serious, very being right in it in spite of certain fissures in his game; the most important perhaps is the one that his trainer indicated this week: the Ches play a very rapid rhythm and it is difficult to them to brake it very much when it is necessary. Skylight that with the people like Town, Bush, Miscellany, Pablo, Joaquín, Knife Domínguez… it has to turn out to be very difficult to achieve that the team does not incline forward. It is 3rd, to eight points of Madrid but putting six to the 5th one, and I live in the Europe League. If it keeps on spending rounds, the legs can weigh him, but it has stool to confront two competitions (although in defense they are quite touched) and most of his pursuers, as we will see, also it will have to play between week, so everything indicates to that if it supports the level, one of the squares will be his to Champions.
The Seville has just lost the Champions position in favor of Majorca. Those of Nervion are suffering certain ups and downs but it is not necessary to forget that there are, with the Atleti, the only Spanish teams that are still alive in three competitions and that the Cup Africa debilitated it very much during last month. Those of Manolo Jiménez have foot and a half in the final of the Cup and at the end of this month his duel will begin with the CSKA of Moscow for a position between the best eight teams of the continent. In League it cannot keep on losing points so often but I see difficult that someone ends up by taking the fourth position from him at the end of the period.
Majorca has been placed again in Champions square, once again making use of his outstanding campaign as place. Of 37 points that 30 adds it has done in ONO Estadi, an authentic small fort in which it has gained ten parties that it has played (only Madrid overcomes him with 11 of 11 in the Bernabéu). Those of Gregorio Manzano are so difficult in the island that they have scored 25 goals as place and only they have received 3, less than anybody. Another history is his role like visitor: 11 parties, 1 victory, 4 ties, 6 defeats and the double of received goals that noted down. They do not have to dispute any other competition, so if it improves his baggage as visitor he is a serious applicant to dispute to the Seville the fourth position; perhaps do not achieve it but insurance that will finish between the six first ones.
The Sports yesterday overcame another adversity: it remained with ten men to the half an hour, but the Malaga was not capable of driving in the tooth to one of the best defensive systems of the League. Everything seems in his against: on the one hand it has had injuries of important players and for other he suffers an economic drowning that prevents him from improving what it has (or to replace the broken pieces). But his first excellent return has it there, 6th with 35 points and ready to sell very expensive his position. If Lotina manages to reconstruct the morality of the team and some of his forwards scores an important goal some day, it is possible that it comes to the final straight line with options to get into European competition. It would be excellent news for the club, because in addition to giving him to the love the place that is deserved, it would sign up to a few income that would not come to him badly at all to keep on covering the holes of the debt that for a few years so much presses him.
Just behind Athletic Club comes, in a 7th position more than unpaid trainee. I know that to resort to the familiar fact of his philosophy is the typical thing, but not for it it stops being worth of praise that, in the times that run, the Lions keep on gaining themselves a place in the warm area. And also they are in sixteenth of the Europe League, where a stony way waits for him: if they overcome the Anderlecht they will cross with the winner of the Hamburg-PSV and from here on, the most difficult still. His big performance in the Cup of the past period raised the Europe League but only he has left this year struggle for it in the League. Depending on what it does in Europe, it will be more or less fresh to fight to go out again of Spain the next year.
Chasing Majorca, Dépor and Athletic is Míchel’s Getafe, 8th in spite of his defeat with the Barca. They are better than it was waited and it is necessary to bear in mind the way in which they have come where they are: playing football and without getting scared not against the most identical. Also it is a staff young and replete with Spanish players with many quality: Pedro León, Soldier, Manu of the Mulberry tree, Equal one, Casquero, Sparrow-hawk… And of 9th Osasuna has been located, thanks to his four consecutive victories, although, sincerely, I do not believe that they go so far as to be in the ointment in the last month.
We finish with two teams that the whole world was hoping to see above: Villarreal and Athletic of Madrid. Both have begun very badly the period (trainer’s change of for way) and whenever they pass pass, it seems that they give two for behind. The Yellow Submarine is 10th, with 26 points, trying to pull for above before his qualifying round of Europe League comes to him with the Wolfsburg. In similar situation are the Mattress-makers: 12th place and 24 points, with a foot and three quarters in the final of the Cup (that, if the Seville finishes between the four first ones, would assure a position to him in the Europe League of the next year) and with his qualifying round with the Galatasaray in the horizon. Both teams are in an important moment: what they do in the next weeks will mark his limits for this campaign (and the next day visits the Atleti the Barca …). His fans will dream of a stupidity in the Europe League but it will be difficult because this year the small sister of the Champions has gone well together with a heap of good young boys: Everton, Rubin Kazan, Benfica, Marseilles, Liverpool, Juventus, Rome, Valencia…
In conclusion, behind the exciting duel between Barca and Madrid, there is another League, the much more earthly one, where there moves a series of teams that do of our most powerful domestic competition of the world. Perhaps not the best, but yes more strong, so I would like seeing where Valencia and Seville would be if they were playing in Italy or England, or where there would be the pursuers of the big ones of these leagues if they were playing in ours.
