The bad education in the football grounds
In Spain the soccer is the spectacle of excellent masses, not political ambience with more spread in the newspapers, the television and the radio. Thousands of persons come to see his teams and are counted by million whom they follow for television, going so far as even to determine his schedules for the called Sport King.
It might be said that the visit to the stadiums is almost a pagan holiday with its own rituals: the cervecitas with the friends, the peregrinaje up to the field, to sit down in the everlasting place, to meet the same people, the solemnity of the anthems, the fervor of the canticles … Without forgetting the return to house, prisoners of the emotions of the meeting, doing the forced post-party, already is going for a walk or visiting another bar, to comment on everything in warm with these friends that perhaps we do not see during the week, but to whom a special fondness is had to them because they are fatigue partners.
Seen like that everything points that the soccer is a holiday that one lives in communion, with happiness and respect. But we all know that it is not like that for everything what happens about two o’clock that a party lasts. During this time space many persons transform in authentic louts, whose education makes to doubt if one day they have gone to a school. The normal people, parents of family or children who do not give too many problems; bartenders, officials or cabdrivers … It does not Matter, the identikit picture is not different that average Spanish.
One can affirm without any place to the doubt that the soccer community is the most bad-mannered of all the social groups they exist in this country. First of all there are the energúmenos that stick with the keen rivals, with the police or between them themselves, which light a flare, which throw objects, be already to the umpire, to the players or keen rivals. But I do not want to speak about the physical violence, but about the bad education.
To start those are unbearable that throw the whole party to themselves releasing improperios. When the party still goes zero already begin zero to chatter on this titular player that they do not support. If they score a goal to his team they take it with other players or the trainer or the board, or all the previous ones, depending on as they have the evening. But the fact is that not even winning they are quiet, because these individuals are a few real machines at the time of looking for reveilles, it costs them anyone and if not, they have always left the umpire …
The bad education is something quite widespread and the rude ones join choir with other thousands of bad-mannered persons who sing to the unison big successes like “Today you go of black, tomorrow your family” (dedicated to the umpires with a bad day), “Guti queer” (hit that sounded already strongly during Míchel’s career), or the already classic ‘Prostitute’s son’ (who works like joker). For not speaking about the racist screams … that deserve a separate post. The case is that the people go crazy suddenly and this subject that you have next to you, a working serious and honest one, a calm type that does not get tangled up, it transforms in a Mr. Hyde who vomits hate for the mouth.
There is true that who more who less we release some curse, an insult or us cagamos in the mother who gave birth to us, but there are many people who does not know where the limit is. In the soccer it is possible to sing for your team, to cheer up or to give palms if it is cheered up; when one is not satisfied with what it sees it can leave to house, whistle, boo or take it with irony. I do not see badly at all in singing, for example, “Lopera vetoes already”, but hence to “Lopera die”, or “Enrique Cerezo, we want your neck”, there is a line that must not be transgressed. You can hesitate on the contrary whenever it is with humor and without being missing to the respect, like when those of the Seville sing “Lopera remain”, but it is necessary to restore the borders of what one can or not it is possible to do. I am ideological and in a philosophic way oppositely to the catholic church, but I am ashamed to have sung in Riazor “We go away to follar to the Virgin of the Prop” when the Saragossa was visiting us, or the absurd “Vigo not” that feeds the hate between brothers.
A big part of the public who is present at the fields there are children or adolescents, whom awful example is given in this species of limbo of the correction that is the soccer. In no other spectacle it is allowed that the public is exceeded: when it finishes a movie that is very bad boos can be listened in the room, when a group of music it harms especially he is whistled or a slightly inspired company of theater is punished by the silence at the moment of applauding. But in the sport in general and in the soccer in particular, the outrageous behaviors are to the agenda. Because the physical or verbal violence is already not only, but another series of execrable conducts like not gathering the garbage that is generated (glasses, bags of pips …), to piss in any side, to spit in the soil …
I do not say that be necessary to be seated, quiet and with the crossed arms, but it is necessary to happen of the streak either, not even with the proper team; because the passion does not give right to demand, it is not any commission that exempts us from our responsibility. There is certain current of opinion that he considers that the insults and the others go in the price of the entry (and in the payroll of the players, trainers, etc) because they confuse very clear concepts. Nobody denies that the public is sovereign, but it is sovereign to not spend money again in an entry and does not return, but if he does not like the spectacle, the expense does not give him white letter anybody lacks to the respect.
The bad education does not exist only in the soccer, also it is in many other collective sports (and in the street), but in the Sport treeless King to his wide ones as in no other place. It looks like to me a real pity that in the soccer there is completely normalized a series of harmful habits that contaminate the spectacle and I would like that there was more public-spiritedness so that nothing darkens the essential thing: the soccer is, first of all, a sport.
